- 22-person unit composed of full-time Army and Air National Guard. With HazMat Technician Qualifications and 1100+ hours of specialized WMD training, the team deploys to provide support to civil authorities at a potential or actual domestic chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, or explosives incident.
- Response area includes Michigan and FEMA Region V
- Other training uses:
- Training site for FBI;
- Michigan State Police;
- local law enforcement agencies;
- Lansing Community College Truck Driving Schools; and
- ROTC students from college throughout the Midwest.
